How did www.crispychrissy.com originate?

This website came about because of a phone call that I received one day while I was at work.  It was just a normal day at work, and then my phone rang.  “Hello, this is Chrissy,” I said. “Crispy?”  The elderly woman on the other end of the line replied, and thus Crispy Chrissy was born.  Since then, the name Crispy has just kind of stuck.  Once people hear about it, they can’t resist calling me Crispy.  So, it got me thinking.  That is how the website www.crispychrissy.com was born.

So, who is Crispy Chrissy?

I’m just an average everyday person.  My day job is in Social Work in the field of Gerontology.  I graduated from Liberty University with an M.A. in Counseling and B.S. in Psychology.  I live with my best friend Sharon and our 3 cats!  I have a lot of varied interests.  One of those interests is using this blog as a forum for advocacy and I hope to do just that.
